DESIGN

LUXURY
The yacht offers the comfort and grandeur expected of a world class vessel, while maintaining a deeper sense of intention. Luxury here is not excess, but the ability to explore the farthest reaches of the planet in complete comfort.
EXPLORATION
Equipped with advanced multibeam echo sounders, Aorta can map the ocean floor, study fish populations and analyse sediment beneath the seabed. Hydrophones enable observation of marine mammal communication, while onboard probes monitor ocean acidification and changing marine conditions in real time.
TECHNOLOGY
Hybrid electric propulsion reduces emissions during operation, while an engine recovery rudder system captures and reuses otherwise wasted energy. Diesel particulate filters reduce harmful exhaust emissions, and acoustic engineering minimises underwater noise pollution to reduce disturbance to marine life.
Even the smallest details were considered, including exterior coatings that resist degradation into harmful particles and integrated systems designed to help capture plastic pollution during expeditions.
